Empowering Students for Lifelong Success Through Unique Activities

At St. Matthew's, our extensive extracurricular programme is an integral part of our holistic educational approach. From the early years onwards, we offer a variety of clubs that extend learning beyond the formal curriculum. These include sports, visual and performing arts, technology, entrepreneurship, and academic courses, among other enriching opportunities.

Designed to inspire students to explore new interests in diverse fields after school, the extracurricular programme equips them for future careers, promotes healthy habits, and nurtures individual talents and practical life skills. Our commitment to a well-rounded education ensures they thrive in all aspects of development—physical, cognitive, social, and emotional. Guided by expert teachers and coaches, students develop into confident, capable individuals ready to excel in all future endeavours.

Extracurricular Activities at St. Matthew’s

Our extracurricular activities take place from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. and are divided into two categories: Clubs and School Teams.

Clubs

Our clubs provide students with the opportunity to learn or further develop their skills in various sports, artistic, and academic disciplines. To ensure a high-quality experience, we collaborate with leading organisations in each field, carefully selected for their excellence and alignment with our community values. Additionally, some clubs are led by our own distinguished teachers, experts in their respective disciplines.

  • Sports Clubs: Football, Horse Riding, Tennis, Skating
  • Artistic Clubs: Dance, Piano, Rock Band, Choir
  • Academic Clubs: French

School Teams

For students who excel in specific disciplines and represent St. Matthew’s in official competitions at local, national, and global levels, we offer our School Teams. The school fully covers the costs of participation, with families responsible only for expenses related to special uniforms, transportation, and—when applicable—national and international travel fees.

  • Sports Teams: Football, Volleyball
  • Artistic Teams: Musical, Radio
  • Academic Teams: Pastoral, Model United Nations (MUN)

Before School Programme at Grimm’s

A Creative and Engaging Start to the Day

At Grimm’s, extracurricular activities take place from 7:00 to 8:15 a.m. as part of our Before School Programme, designed to offer children a unique and stimulating start to their school day. This programme is available for K1 to First Grade students and runs from Monday to Friday, before the start of regular classes.

During this time, children participate in artistic activities that nurture their creativity and imagination, guided by our dedicated Art teacher. Additionally, we have observed significant improvements in their hygiene and eating habits, as they have the opportunity to bring their breakfast and independently carry out their morning routines in a safe and structured environment. This fosters their autonomy and overall well-being, preparing them for a successful school day.
